The mission statement of the left/progressives was written by Vladimir Lenin almost one hundred years ago. It begins with the command, "Corrupt the young..." Many have since echoed his sentiments on college campuses and in other leftist forums and publications.
The left--as defined by me--includes, but is not limited to, those who profess: Communism, Marxism, Maoism, Socialism, Anarchism, Feminism, Animal-centrism, any sort of geo or ethno-centrism and of course progressivism.
Leftism--as defined by me-- includes most of the 'isms,Capitalism, of course, being an exception. Maybe you know of some others.
It is accurate to state that the Democrat party has been entirely co-opted by the left.
You can find the entire mission statement of the left printed on the sidebar of this blog. It goes on to insist that blatant dishonesty and deciet are acceptable methods for promoting their agenda. They have been tirelessly perfecting that methodology for well over a century.
Leftists/progressives will argue that the mission statement which I cite is only a relatively painless means to some absract glorious end far in the future. But then, you would expect that since they believe that blatant dishonesty and deciet are acceptable methods for promoting their agenda.
Anyway, don't be fooled.
The means has in fact become the end.
Personally, I would think long and hard before I signed on with any ideology whose mission statement commands you to "Corrupt the young."
Remember leftism/progressivism is nothing more than an attempt to morally justify putting base human impulses into action. Impulses like hatred or rage or wanton desire to harm others.
And just as hatred and rage and wanton desire to harm others are impervious to reason, so too leftism/progressivism is impervious to reason.
Through what sick perversion of logic can you accept the command, "Corrupt the young."?
