BLESS 'EM ALL

It has been said that cleanliness is next to godliness.

I'm not so sure.

Instead, I wonder if freedom--of mind and spirit--doesn't bring us closer to The One who makes all things, seen and unseen.

So on this Memorial Day, may God see fit to bless all the men and women and boys and girls in our armed forces who daily go about the work of defending and procuring what freedom we have in this world.  And may He see fit to bless the souls of those who have passed over while performing that task.

And may He someday see fit to extinguish for all time, the evil in the hearts of men which makes soldiers necessary in the first place.

I think that's a great thought. As a former soldier, I often thought what a great thing it would be for me to unemployed at that time when we weren't needed anymore... See you on the high ground! MajorDad1984
